Chris Simon, Global Intelligence & Public Affairs, Sterimed
Bonjour! I’m Chris Simon, and I lead Global Intelligence and Public Affairs at Sterimed.
What motivated you to become a member of HPRC?
Joining HPRC was a natural step for me. It offered the opportunity to collaborate with peers across industries who share a deep passion for tackling the complex challenges of healthcare plastic recycling.
What projects are you currently working on?
Currently, I’m actively involved in a European initiative focused on the end-of-life stage for non-contaminated medical device packaging after hospital use. Our goal is to enhance sortability and recyclability—without compromising performance or regulatory compliance.
What value does HPRC bring to your organization?
For Sterimed, HPRC acts as a catalyst. It brings together diverse expertise, fosters open dialogue, and accelerates progress on issues that no single company can solve alone. It’s a space where we challenge assumptions, share insights, and co-create solutions that move the industry forward.
