Fireside Chats with Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council

Fireside Chats with Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council

A Series of videos seeks to bring more awareness to challenges and opportunities for recycling healthcare plastics

With the goal of bringing more awareness to the topic of healthcare plastics recycling, HPRC convened a few key players from across the value chain to discuss how they think about healthcare plastic waste, recycling, and the sustainable future of these important materials.

These fireside chats help to further our mission of collaborating across the value chain to inspire and enable the healthcare community to implement viable, safe, and cost-effective recycling solutions for plastics products and packaging used in the delivery of healthcare.

This project features three interview-style videos moderated by Janani Bhaskar, NA Commercial Leader for Tyvek® at DuPont.

“This was a great project to be part of,” says Janani Bhaskar, “Continuous education and dialogue between medical device manufacturers, hospitals, and recyclers is so important, as we work towards innovative solutions and closing the loop on healthcare plastics. There is a shared responsibility across the entire value chain for these materials and having an open discussion and getting a bit into the weeds is how we can make progress.”
